The British Red Cross Crisis Education teams have obtained funding for 2017 to work with learners who are highly likely to assist in a first aid emergency.  This funding is targeted towards providing training to groups assisting individuals in need of first aid as a result of sleeping rough and/or those at risk due to misuse of drugs or alcohol.  As much of the work of Street Pastors involves these groups the training is being offered to Street Pastor Initiatives in the Greater London area free of charge.

The training session will cover the emergencies most likely to occur and will aim to increase knowledge and confidence in a highly engaging and relevant way.

The British Red Cross Crisis Education teams will usually come to your venue, deliver to a maximum of 15 learners per session for 2 hours and they can also discuss providing training over a number of sessions.

The offer is open to initiatives within Greater London where there is sufficient capacity and relative ease of travel for the trainers.
