We love to hear good news stories about the work of Street Pastors and we would like to share a few to encourage you to continue with all that you do:

Evesham, Weston and Cork Street Pastor Teams all won Mayoral awards in May and June for their work in the community. These are just a few areas that have received some recognition for the work that they do.

Derby Street Pastors are continuing to grow and are currently training 16 new recruits to join their team.

Simon Hayes, PCC for Hampshire and Isle of Wight, gave a powerful reflection on love in action at the commissioning service of new street pastors in Winchester. You can read an extract here.

To celebrate the 800th anniversary of the Magna Carta, Chippenham Street Pastors were invited to be part of the local celebrations and parade to Salisbury Cathedral.

Chippenham SP coordinator, Michael Weeks, swapped his uniform for a slightly more prominent outfit (he’s inside the red baron’s puppet), and the rest of the team, smartly dressed in Street Pastors uniform, were out in force to celebrate with their community.
