Their clubs operate under various names, the most well-known of which is Walkabout.

Over the last 3 months we have been developing our relationship with Intertain and we’ve recently had meetings with its COO Simon Kaye, with a view to exploring ways in which we can work closer together.

We discussed some of these potential ways that Intertain clubs could help our teams:

  • Hosting training of Street Pastors teams on club premises
  • Training delivered by Intertain staff or club managers, e.g. working with vulnerable people
  • Supplying hot drinks/food for street pastors on patrol
  • Raising awareness of our work through local club websites, social media and through internal communications in the Intertain network.

In addition, last week Simon Kaye highlighted the work of Street Pastors in the company’s webinar.

This is a very encouraging development and we will be looking at ways in which we can move this forward across the country.

We will contact teams that are working in areas with an Intertain venue to ask if we can put you in contact with the club’s manager.
